Terms of Service

Last updated October 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of TrackCited ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use TrackCited on behalf of a company or for clients, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for them.

1. The service

TrackCited asks AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude) the questions you track, records which brands they recommend and which sources they cite, and turns that into scores, reports and suggested actions. Features depend on your plan, as described on our pricing section.

2. About AI results

AI answers change over time and vary between runs. Scores, mentions and recommendations reflect the answers we collected at scan time and are provided for information. We don't control the AI engines and can't guarantee any particular ranking or outcome from acting on our suggestions.

3. Your account

Keep your login details secure and give us accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account. Track only brands you own, represent, or are researching for legitimate business purposes.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse the service, interfere with it, or try to access it by means other than the interfaces we provide.
  • Don't resell raw access to the service except as allowed on the Agency plan (reporting to your own clients).
  • Don't use the service or its output to break the law or to mislead people.

5. Trials, billing and cancellation

New accounts get a 14-day Pro trial with no card required. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change to your plan.

6. Your data

You own the data you enter and the reports generated for you. You give us permission to process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export reports at any time and ask us to delete your account.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. AI providers may change or limit their services, and we may adapt which engines and features we offer as a result.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post changes here and, for material changes, email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
