This policy explains what personal data TrackCited ("we", "us") collects when you use trackcited.com and the TrackCited service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what the service needs to work.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your email address and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Brand data you enter — brand and competitor names, domains, industry, location and the questions you track.
- Scan results — the answers AI engines return to your tracked questions, the sources they cite, and the scores we compute from them.
- Billing data — handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and a customer reference; we never see or store your full card details.
- Contact requests — the name, email, company, website and message you send through our contact form.
- Technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security and debugging.
